Harvey Oliver

If Harvey Oliver seems familiar then he probably is.

For while the name may be new, in a previous life he had been in the entertainment business for many years.

As an actor he was a star of many a sitcom, including Only Fools and Horses, where he played of all things a stand-up comedian.

Deciding to reinvent himself with a whole new name, persona and act, Harvey found himself playing to sell-out clubs across the country on the strength of just one or two open mic spots.

His style can range from loud and in yer face to honest observations about life and the entertainment business.

Just don't mention docusoaps or laugh at his beloved QPR!

In the 90's Television changed and Jeff (Harvey) became one the country's top TV studio warm-up comics. During this time he also became in great demand for corporate functions, after dinner speaking and product launches where his ability to think on his feet and incorporate topical material in to his act became a great asset.

As the millennium approached, Jeff decided a change in direction was in order. He found the comedy circuit the best vehicle for his style of humour under his new name Harvey Oliver. The result of this change in direction meant that he could go out on stage and speak his mind, talk about real life rather than just telling jokes. Now after 3 years on the circuit, Harvey can be seen all over the UK appearing regularly at Jongleurs, UP The Creek, The Glee Clubs, The Bearcat, and many more. He also appears regularly for top comedy promoters such as Off The Kerb and Christian Knowles.

Harvey is very at home on the comedy circuit and due to his vast experience in all areas of stand-up comedy, he now has the ability to play the comedy circuit, corporate gigs and can even be found entertaining American passengers on the QE2 and other ships throughout the year.
