More Great Shows Coming Soon

Be the first to know

Margate Theatre Royal, Friday 16th May
If you haven’t ever seen The Raymond & Mr Timpkins Revue before then there’s no time to waste. As the most bizarre, yet funny comedy act on the Comedy Club circuit today you’ll be in stitches in minutes. You may have seen them online but nothing can prepare you for this fantastic live performance. Compered by Danny Buckler and opened by Dougie Dunlop, you’re still in for a treat whatever your taste.

Park View Suite, Westcliff-on-Sea - Thursday 22nd May
Back by popular demand; he’s dry as a bone, a former undertaker and widely recognised as one of the top 10 comics in the UK - let us introduce Mike Gunn for a fantastic return! We aren’t just about the headline act though, top acts Kerry Godliman and Nic Coppin are big draws in their own right - so you’ll be laughing from start to finish.

City Limits, Milton Keynes - Thursday 29th May
- Last Show of the Season -
Your last chance to catch The Comedy Club at City Limits before the summer break and have we got a brilliant show for you. Highlight of the show by far is Brian Higgins; Scottish, Ginger Haired & Funny - you can take that to the bank! So before you roll out the BBQ and don the trusty mitten and tongs combo, get yourself down to your favourite comedy club.

Comedy Gossip

We dig deeper for the gossip

Branded a Villain - Ready to break America, Russell Brand was due to appear on the huge David Letterman show this week to plug his new movie ’Forgetting Sarah Marshall’, and everything was looking good. Of course, that was until he met US immigration at New York’s JFK Airport who turned Brand away citing his old drug convictions. Never one to dwell to deeply, Russell joked “‘Now that I know what it’s like to be an illegal immigrant, I’ve cancelled my membership to the BNP”.

Gorman: ’G’ stands for Genuis - Dave Gorman’s Radio 4 show ’Genius’ is heading for BBC2. Having ordered 6 episodes of the show, we’ve been told to expect even more of the daft, big, silly and inspired ideas that has made his radio show such a success. Think Top Gear, Tomorrow’s World and Blue Peter all in a mixing bowl with some great results including - fizzy Bovril, mini elephants as pets and breathalysers on your mobile phone to stop you making regrettable calls!

Win 2 free tickets to a show of your choice!

“I’ll just lean it round the corner” - Famous lasts words from this unfortunate caption! Submit Your Joke Caption Here and you’ll not only have it bit of fun, but if your entry is judged the funniest on 2nd June then you’ll win 2 free tickets to a show of your choice.

Fancy a Laugh? - We’ve got just the video for you!

Each month our new News & Gossip section presents you with one of the funniest clips you can find on YouTube. There’s never any bad language so you can watch the video whenever and wherever you like - Click Here for April’s Funniest Clip.
