Watch February’s Funniest Video
The Brit Awards really caused a stir this year with the dubious congratulatory awards for Amy Winehouse, but it wasn’t Amy causing a stir at the aftershow party. By special request, comedy circuit star Rudi Lickwood was chosen as host for the aftershow party entertainment. Packed with as much glitz and glamour usually seen in a year, the night was a great showcase for stand-up Rudi and proved once again that he’s on top of his game.
Away from the Brit Award histerics it was down to club stand-up favourites such as Harvey Oliver, Dave Ward and Steve Best to tickle our club crowds from Sunderland to Switzerland. Entertaining everyone from Aussies and Americans to the local Swiss, The Comedy Club Switzerland is testiment to Comedy’s ability to travel!
February also saw the conclusion of the Funny Business Series on BBC2 Wales - You can now find winning comedians Rod Woodward and Kevin Coleman performing all over the UK! From your local pub to grand theatres, just visit our comedians page to find full Comedy Club listings.

I’ve seen Kevin Coleman a couple of times at the chelmsford comedy club and can say i never really ‘got’ him. But saw him again on 6th March and think i finally saw why he won funny business. For god sake lose the rant i used to think! And **** me, he’s funny!
Anyone else seen him? Cheerz. Daz.

Mr Coleman, i saw him down in Southend Comedy Club but didn’t realise who he was. I thought his stuff was good but was a bit if a rabbit in the headlights as they were filming for the aftermath ‘path’ of Funny Business. First 3 minutes was really good then lost the room with some stuff about Wales.

Yeah i saw the documentary and he came down the Waterfront. He’s a big stand up and could really hold the stage. Bit more time and i think he’ll be there.
Gotta love th stuff bout working in the petrol station and his old mate walking in.
Friend: “so Kev, what you up to these days?”
Kevin: “What the *#% does it look like i’m doing?”
Keep the funnies coming Kev and you’ll make it.

Thanking you Harvey, Dave and Steve for the comedy stand up show you so kindly played in Zug last Monday. Switzerland needs more shows like this, already looking forward to our next night.
I’m greatful for your time and effort.
Aleit.

Rod Woodward. That’s who I want to see. Have seen Kevin now in Fleet, a lot better than a lot of the other comics my local club has down. It’s not a ‘Comedy Club’ venue though so can’t really speak for the guys stand ups you’ve compared him to. Rod looks too corporate for the normal comedy clubs, brilliant but maybe works better on telly than in the nitty gritty pubs.
Rod Woodward - Thumbs up
Kevin Coleman - More thumbs up now than ever before.
