October News
The Comedy Club and Corporate Comedy scene is has been flying through October and is set to continue all the way to Christmas and the new year. Besides all the usual Comedy Club gigs, the acts under Comic Voice Management have really had their work cut-out with additional work from both TV & Radio. Chambers & Nettleton have been filmed for our Mediatheme TV project and were also featured on Sky Poker with Phil Butler and Ronnie Edwards.
Billed as celebrity guests on Sky Poker’s weekday competitions. Each comedian had the chance to play for Charity in the big open event live on SkyPoker and then had the opportunity to play additional tables if they didn’t too so well. Needless to say, our guys and girls should all stick to the comedy!
Perhaps the most coverted praise and exposure gained this month came to Rudi Lickwood. Celebrating the bi-centinery of the abolition of slavery, 2007’s Black History Month had extra impact this year and in a staggering display of recognition from the Black History Month organisers, Rudi Lickwood was named in the ‘Black 100+’, celebrating his achievements and respect in the industry today.

Phil Butler…fantastic comedian but he shouldn’t give up the evening job to become a poker player. Only lasted 20mins out of a 3 hour show but made me laugh so well worth getting him on there. I’ve booked myself into see him perform at Chelmsford Comedy Club so it should be a good night.

Pass my congratulations on to Rudi for the Black 100+. Saw him perform earlier in the summer at Brands Hatch Comedy Club and have been waiting for him to come back down Dartford way. Fantastic showman and can really see how he has helped people as i’m one of them.
I’ll be watching out for a lot more of Rudi on TV, quite an impressive corporate client list as well.
Cheers. Aziz

Having read everything that Rudi’s now doing I’ve booked up to see him at one of your Christmas Comedy shows in London and i can’t wait. I last saw him about 3 years ago in Romford and still thought he was brilliant back then. Hats off the guy, he’s worked hard to get this far and it’s great to see him finally getting the TV work and recognition he deserves.
Well done Rudi.
