The Comedy Club Limited

Last month, Comedy Club Director and Rudi Lickwood were in the heart of Wales searching hard the next welsh comic star. It’s safe to say that at the start of the whole experience there were more than a few nerves. Could Wales come up trumps in our search for comic talent?

Come the Funny Business final on May 13th this had certainly changed. It wasn’t so much, who’s the best, but who will The Comedy Club have to turn down! The range of talent was huge and although tensions ran high, it was an easy choice for Ian Franklin in the end. “What would you say if we chose two winners tonight?”. The crowd erupted and with cheers and chants, Rod Woodward and Kevin Coleman were announced winners of the 2007 Funny Business talent search. Well done guys!

The four part series comes out in October through November, so keep your eyes peeled and we’ll let you know the air date nearer the time!
