The Comedy Club Limited

It’s true everything comes to life in the spring and The Comedy Club is no exception. Kicking off the month we had the Funny Business Auditions for the wannabee Welsh comedians, has anyone got what it takes to make it to the top? Comedy Club Director and competition judge Ian Franklin along with Rudi Lickwood had the tough job of watching the auditions and experiencing what Wales had to offer first hand. Whether in Cardiff, Swansea Wrexham the competition was tight and now with only weeks to go until the final, things are really hotting up!

Other news across the country, Lynn Chambers (one half of the top female double act Chambers and Nettleton) was confirmed as the face of a new Churchill Insurance advert shown across the UK. Shown on terrestrial and satellite TV you may have already seen her! Further news in the field, Rudi Lickwood was chosen as the star pick for the Daily Mirror. Interviewed at the Publican Live show held at Olympia Stadium, Rudi was also showcasing for a brand new, state of the art project run between The Comedy Club and Mediatheme, but we can only tell you more about that next month.

On the corporate front, Otiz Cannelloni was proud to represent the best of british comedy for an event organised for The Appeal Group. Great thanks to Otiz as we had a stream of fantastic comments, ‘I laughed til I cried’ being just one.
