January News
Happy New Year comedy fans! With one of the busiest and most exciting years for The Comedy Club behind us, 2007 is set to continue this rise across the UK. We even managed to make a whole bunch of people laugh on January 22nd, the most miserable day in the year according to those men in white coats! The introduction on our Online-Joke Competition has certainly set a few minds going, with chances to enter from our monthly e-mail or simply through the site, this has been a great chance to win coveted tickets to a Comedy Club near you and continues each month.
In the wider world of comedy we saw Borat win a Golden Globe, Jade Goody make a bit of a slip to 8 million viewers and Russell Brand actually keep a low profile. One thing’s for sure though, it’s been a busy month for comedy. Armada UK had the pleasure and excitement of Steve Best performing for their corporate event and Phil Butler has been invited to perform for our armed forces in Iraq.
We’ve got some big news to announce in February so check back to see 2007’s biggest comedy story, right here at The Comedy Club!Â

Well i may be the first but January actually put a smile on my face. I really enjoyed entering the joke competition, i didn’t win but was good to see us all battling it out for the top spot. Well done i guess to Martin, but mark my words i’m gonna win February’s!
