July News
At last, after long awaited anticipation we finally get the call we have all been waiting for, the transmission date for the ‘Funny Business’ documentary is confirmed as Thursday 3rd August at 10.30pm on BBC3. If you are a Comedy Club regular make sure you watch, you might just spot your face in the crowd!
July also sees the launch of our brand new website - which I am sure you will agree is pretty damn good! Make sure you sign yourself up to receive the regular newsletter (from homepage) for all up to date info, the latest gossip and details of local gigs.
You have to feel sorry for these hard done by acts - Kevin McCarthy and Phil Butler have to slum it for a whole week on a Caribbean cruise - not quite as easy as it sounds though with them having to entertain the same audience three times in the same week!
Rudi Lickwood also gets to spread the love abroad with a gig in Dubai at the beginning of the month.
Summer is most definitely here now and that means one thing - festivals and plenty of them. Several of our acts have been called upon to entertain the crowds at festivals across the country including the Bug Jam in Wellingborough, Cannizaro in Wimbledon and the Guildford Festival to name but a few.
And finally we welcome with open arms Tanyalee Davis back over to sunny England from Las Vegas for performances at the end of the month.
