The Comedy Club European adventure began in April with the first ever Comedy Club show in Prague, and it went down a storm! To cap off an excellent three months of filming, the BBC followed The Comedy Club Director himself, Ian Franklin and the starring line-up from the Comic Voice team to the City’s hub at Wencesslas Sq.
Kevin McCarthy was once again invited back to warm up the crowd for the Jools Holland show, putting in another class performance to ensure he remains at the top of any TV producer’s wish list.
Chambers and Nettleton stamped their mark on the TV scene after being short listed for a new Co-op commercial, we’re waiting now to hear the new voices of the funny, all singing, all dancing, all shopping sheep!
Back to more serious matters, John Ryan put in an excellent performance at Leicester Comedy Festival’s award winning ‘Hurt Until It Laughs’ stand-up comedy project. Performing to over 1000 people John had his work cut out, but being medically trained and comically proven he took it all in stride, also stating that the project had also been inspirational to him in so many ways.
